HALLELUJAH CUP 2012

Prijavljeno preko 600 natjecatelja

Međunarodno taekwondo natjecanje Hallelujah Cup 2012 bit će održano u subotu 29.09.2012. u školskoj sportskoj dvorani Mladost, Rakovac 1 u Karlovcu.

Pokrovitelj natjecanja je Grad Karlovac, a organizator taekwondo klub Karlovac i gosp. Miroslav Brežan.

S jučerašnjim zaključnim danom za prijave na ovogodišnji Hallelujah kup se prijavilo preko 600 natjecatelja.

Kupovi tog naziva održavaju se u nizu zemalja svijeta pod pokroviteljstvom Hallelujah Taekwondo Association, kršćanske organizacije koja djeluje u sklopu World Sports Mission, koja je u Seulu nedavno proslavila 25. rođendan.

Na sam dan proslave WSM, u Seulu, donijeta je odluka da se organizacija 1. SVJETSKOG HALLELUJAH PRVENSTVA dodjeli Hrvatskoj i Karlovcu, Gradu gdje su počeci i korijeni ovog športa u Jugoistočnoj Europi, koje je planirano za listopad 2014. valja naglasiti da se prvenstvo održava po pravilima WTF-a, a na učešće su pozvani svi taekwondo sportaši svijeta, bez obzira na nacionalnost, spol, rasu, vjerska uvjerenja...

Hallelujah Taekwondo Association danas ima 136 kršćanskih taekwondo instruktora raspoređenih u 47 zemalja svijeta, koji se uz taekwondo aktivno bave i misionarskim poslom.

Taekwondo klub Karlovac do sada je svake dvije godine za redom organizirao Hallelujah cup ( 2006, 2008, 2010) na kojem je nastupilo preko 30 zemalja sa svih kontinenata

# 7	the vintage cohshoupe on 11th ave and 3rd st sw.it's divided into a restaurant on one side and an upscale bar on the other. it's wasn't generally my type of crowd (a little too much suit 'n expensive dress, not enough blue in the colar) but the people were nice, the drinks were decent, service superb, prices just fine and the music was great.they do jazz some nights as well, so i recommend phoning ahead and finding out what's up on a given night.sadly, the blues scene in calgary has just taken a horrible beating over the last few years. jazz/blues bars don't make all that much money apparently, but they attract good sized crowds and help give an area a certain artsy feeling about it. which in turn invites in the gentrifiers who do their best to ensure it's not economically feasible for the blues to stay. sigh =(
