MATEA CIKOJA BRONČANA NA PRVENSTVU HRVATSKE

Nada se mjestu u reprezentaciji

Na upravo održanom prvenstvu Hrvatske u katama za kadete, juniore i mlađe seniore što se u nedjelju, 21. listopada 2012. održalo u Rovinju, nastupila je i Matea Cikoja, članica Karate kluba Osijek Žito.

Matea je u kategoriji mlađih seniorki (18 do 21 godina) imala prvi meč s Mihaelom Petrović iz KK Princ iz Zagrebe i u izvedbi kate Goyu shiho sho izgubila s 4:1. Više je uspjeha bilo u repasažnoj borbi za treće mjesto u kojoj je Matea izvodeći katu Kanku sho bila uspješnija od Rafaele Alandžak iz KK Vukovar 91. koju je pobijedila s 4:1.

„Matea je odlična karatašica i ovo svakako nije njeno najbolje izdanje. Uz to, ovaj je nastup njen prvi izlazak u novu dobnu skupinu pa ne smijemo biti nezadovoljni. Trenutno je najvažnije da je Matea osvojila medalju jer tako ostaje u igri za ulazak u reprezentaciju za predstojeće Europsko prvenstvo za kadete, juniore i mlađe seniore što je na rasporedu u veljači sljedeće godine. Presudni će biti turniri koji slijede, osobito onaj u Samoboru u siječnju 2013. Čvrsto vjerujem da će Matea do tada doći u pravu formu i izboriti svoje mjesto u reprezentaciji..“, optimističan je njen trener Dražen Gorjanski.

She had quite a few teeth pulled when she was young, her mother never took her to the dentist, so about 5 years ago she had all her molars ripped out and had fake (expensive to say the least) drilled with tiny screws into her jaw bone. She keeps saying she wants dentures etc so hubby and I were at dinner w/parents and I thought I would use you as an example of someone that is worse off dentally than her. After everyones jaw dropped at the price, and I assured them that I had the right amount of 0 s on the amount, we got into a discussion on ; would she need the root canal if they pulled her teeth. I thought you still would have, but you corrected me. We then went on to my sister-in-law who was born with no enamel on her teeth.See, that is how you were discussed and it was all good. My dad was trying to figure out a business expense for the cost to you so you could write it off!:lol:
